+Alex Krause used a big guy at a previous job. Loved water jet, so smooth and nice.

Looked into it. To properly do this the pumps and filtration were larger in both size and cost than would be worth it for me. Of course I'm a go big or go home guy... You know everything's bigger in Texas.

Materials & settings (wood, glass, etc...) -

Has anyone had experience with loading in fixtures to hold purchased stock like wood rounds that are close to the same dimension every time would like to know if I should just CNC router an aluminum bracket or laser cut a guide out of 3/8 inch mdf

As I don't have a cnc I would go the laser cut out of ply/mdf method. But, an aluminium bracket would be better in the long run as it won't warp over time.

It turned out pretty well on the second attempt... This is with the stock board running a k40... Can only imagine what I will get when I drop a Smoothie in and start rocking out Laserweb

+Alex Krause Indeed it is time consuming. Took me 4 hours + to do a 50 x 75mm piece. I was wanting to do 300x200mm piece, but worked out it would take me something like 64 hours.

I will give it some thought & see if I can come up with any time efficient methods to improve the look.
