Bought the Azteeg since it was in stock and so far it is working well. They say they have net pinout on the board - anyone actually successfully added networking to it? If added, would it be compatible with the net support in Smoothieware?
I had the same questions, so I dropped Panucatt an email. The response I got back was that they're working on a daughterboard that would provide the ethernet interface, but there was no timeline as to when it would drop.
Based on the published wiring diagram and the pin usage table published (lpc1769-pin-usage), the board would connect to J7 on the X5 v2. In theory, between those two sources of information, there's enough to go on there to wire up a home-brew plug.
Thanks, I had pinged them but not heard back. I may have to do some playing around to see if I cna jury rig something for fun while I wait for the real solution.
